She might have done this as a source of comfort or something, as she was alone in tight/dark place. And she knew he was there, so she probably figured that if she asked him to enter her, she'd be less afraid of her given situation.
Marie felt more protected with the evil and probably felt less vulnerable when it was inside her. She felt that with the evil on her side, she could actually win.
She felt that the darkness entering her would make her mind strong, she felt week at the moment with her tears and thought that the dark ones power could help her. She felt that with the dark one she was stronger than anyone else.
